Fullerton short sales, or specifically, “distressed sales” in Fullerton remain at 28% of listings. In August there were 395 homes listed. 196 closed. What does that say about the 28% of them that were short sales?
Conservatively, Fullerton short sale agents were able to move about 55 out of around 110 short sale homes if the percentage factor held out for distressed properties. My guess is that it didn’t. It caved and most of the short sales did not close.
What becomes of short sales that don’t close?
Foreclosure.
