    Video Update 

    Posted a video for Gallery Oaks in Menifee. The new homes are now on the market and should sell fast. The prices are in the 400s for the large homes on one acre lots.     I optimize videos for several markets but I’ll tell you, one tough market for real estate is Menifee, Temecula and Murrieta. I guess it’s because there is such a glut of inventory- nearly all of it REO. Kind of a preview of the US market? I hope not.

    Second Video Outperformed By First 

    It seems like glitches in the upload process of my second video for Menifee Homes may have decremented its value in Google’s index. It doesn’t rank with a thumbnail but just a link. Actually, I’m beginning to suspect that a thumbnail was never generated.

    I’m adding to this post to see if Google will index it merely because of additional text. Recently I posted a short article about SEO inflation. This is a perfect example. The original text was and is the core message but additional “fluff” may be what gets the job done.

    I’ll post below this line if it works.-

    And yes it worked just five minutes later, and all this time Google was just hiding it for lack of enough text. hmmm…

    VideoMax Google’s Preferential Treatment 

    It’s not necessarily so much that video gets preferential treatment, although I think it does, but video has a lot less competition. Even when videos are used in real estate marketing, no effort is made to provide SEO for those posts- the playing field is wide open. Video is a “blue ocean.”

    My most recent campaign is for the Menifee homes for sale in Calder Ranch that are being built by Capital Pacific Homes throughout the spring. Early buyers can still choose options from flooring to four car garages.

    It only takes a novice, not even a real estate SEO expert to realize that video ranks well against heavy competition.
